ParScooter™ : Electric
Golf Cart / Scooter Performance

Range
vs. Terrain Performance

Actual
range and speed is dependent on rider weight and terrain. Use
cart paths as much as possible and stay out of wet or long grass.
On downhill terrain or in short fairway grass, you can ride
up to your ball following clubhouse "cart-path-rules".
An
optional second battery may be purchased from our accessories
page. The spare battery has a charging port built in so it does
not need to be in the scooter while charging. You may want to
purchase a second charger unit so that both your main scooter
battery and your backup battery can be charged in the same 6-8
hour period. The second optional battery may be attached to
the "D" hooks underneath the golf cart storage area
or may be retrieved from your car after the 18th hole for longer
rounds or after the 9th hole for very steep courses without
cart paths. For most golfers on most courses, the one main battery
(included) is sufficient.
Note:
man-made hills around greens are not considered "steep".
Very steep hills are tough to walk up and may require you to
walk along side the scooter while applying light power to pull
the scooter, cart, and some of your body weight uphill. This
is a rare occurance, but is far better than not using the ParScooter.
When
the battery LED on the throttle is flahing red, the scooter
will shut off in 5 seconds for not enough power. Back off on
the throttle (speed) and the indicator will stop flashing. When
the scooter is stopped and the throttle is released, the true
amount of battery life will be shown. Even after a red indication
is seen an an uphill hole, there will more than likely be enough
battery power for future flat and downhill holes. Remember,
only half on any golf course is uphill, the other half is downhill.
